A pair of emotional cat owners burst into tears after finding their deaf and blind moggy which had gone missing just after they moved house.
Dan Wise and his fiance Shelly had just moved 3,000 miles from Florida to Washington, USA, when their 20-year-old pet Kiki Man disappeared.
Emotional footage captured the moment Shelly spotted Kiki Man wandering under a parked truck two days after the pussycat had escaped from their garden.
After Shelly had picked him up, she tried to climb a fence to get back to Dan before working around the perimeter so all three could be reunited properly.
Dan said: Im pretty sure hes used all of his nine lives at this point so were keeping a very tight eye on this little escape artist.
The feeling we experienced when he was missing, was what I can only imagine somebody going through losing a child and not knowing what happened to them.
We couldnt sleep we could not eat. We are aware hes on his final days and to think of him dying alone out in the heat was absolutely devastating.
Both of my daughters were devastated and our whole family came over to help find him. I was convinced we would never see him again just because of his old age.
Ive never felt that kind of lost even after losing my parents didnt compare to how bad this felt.
After finding him and bringing him back to the house, we all emotionally and physically crashed and slept the entire day as it was just such an overwhelming joyful moment.
We are beyond blessed to have him. We make sure we give him tons of hugs kisses and scratches on his head.
Kiki Man has no sight and has less than 10% hearing and due to a bad kidney disease, he has to be given extra fluids twice a week.
Dan said: Without those fluids he cant survive. Hes a very special kitty. He has been by our side every day for the last 20 years.
In our new house we secured the perimeter fence so that he can sit outside, which he absolutely loves.
Shellys mother had come over to let a worker drop off window supplies and when she went, she left the gate open just a tad.
The next morning while watering the grass I noticed the gate. Not thinking anything of it, I sealed the gate and continued with my yard work.
About 30 minutes later, my fianc came outside, asking if I had seen the cat. At that moment, my heart dropped.
Because of his lack of eyesight, he walks the perimeter of the fence, feeling for the opening of the door in order to go back in the house
He likely found the opening in the fence by mistake and just started wandering down the street.
Due to his disabilities, we assumed he either was hit or taken by wildlife predators, such as hawks or coyotes , as he had no senses to defend himself.
Two days later we noticed across the street on the other side of a fence there seemed to be something similar to a cat under one of the 18 wheelers looking for shade.
We took off running and my fiance jumped the fence. It was him, and he was very dehydrated and malnourished from being out in the heat as we had two extremely hot days back to back.
We took him home where he sat in front of the water dish for a good 30 minutes drinking water.
Then we intravenously put fluids in his body and then he crawled behind the TV and went to sleep on the modem for about a day.
Hes now back to his normal self. We are all beyond happy to a found our grey man.
