Elizabeth’s final husband was a former construction worker that she met in the 1980s while attending the Betty Ford Clinic. This was a man by the name of Larry Fortensky, and the two tied the knot in 1991. Larry was two decades younger than Elizabeth, though that didn’t stop their immense physical attraction. Despite the two having plenty of fun together, they ended up getting divorced in 1996. Still, they remained good friends up until Elizabeth’s death.
Prior to Larry, Elizabeth was married to a senator by the name of Jack Warner. When Elizabeth married Jack, he wasn’t a senator. Elizabeth accompanied Jack on his campaign and was so in love with the politician that she didn’t mind his request for her to wear more conservative clothing during their public appearances together. Sadly, their marriage fell apart due to Jack’s immense time constraints after receiving his seat as a senator.
Prior to Jack, Elizabeth had two separate rocky marriages to actor Richard Burton, though she claimed that the love of her life was her third husband Mike Todd, who died in a tragic crash on his private plane, “Lucky Liz’s”, only a year after their wedding.
