#shorts While Derik M. was on deployment at the McMurdo Station in Antarctica as a US Coast Guard, he spotted a family of penguins traveling along the coast on a sheet of ice. Suddenly, a piece of the ice breaks and splits a penguin from the rest of its family. The penguin is seen frantically running towards land before the piece of ice splits off for good, and barely make it onto the ice and returns to its family.
