Dennis Quaid claims that his cocaine addiction came about from the abundance of cocaine that was available in Hollywood during the 1980s. By the end of the decade, Dennis claims that he was doing cocaine every day. It got so bad that the star had a vision of himself dead, and he claims that this vision came as somewhat of a religious experience. At the time, Dennis was engaged to Meg Ryan.
After his vision, Dennis confessed his addiction to Meg Ryan, and the two went through with their marriage with the understanding that Dennis would give up his cocaine use. Dennis was able to stay clean for around a decade, during which time he and Meg had a son. Sadly, Dennis ended up relapsing around the start of the new millennium, resulting in him and Meg getting divorced in 2001.
Dennis Quaid seems to have been sober for nearly two decades now and has remarried twice since divorcing Meg. Join Facts Verse as we explore how Dennis Quaid saw himself dead during his crippling cocaine addiction.
