Stacey Mark Hernandez was carrying Snow, his two-year-old puspin, when his wife playfully hit his shoulder, causing the feline to paw at her in Manila, the Philippines, on June 22.
Footage shows the furry creature extending its paws to attack and bite the woman.
The filmer can be seen gripping the man's hair, prompting the cat to scratch her back.
Mark said: 'Snow is very close to me and feels jealous of my wife. There have been several times when he has defended me when my partner hit me.'
