This is the moment a house collapsed into a river in a western Russian town due to coastal erosion.
Footage captured on April 18 in Elino, Vladimir Oblast, shows the home suddenly slumping into the neighbouring Oka River.
According to reports, the owner of the house had bought the plot of land a few years ago but had stopped working on it. The authorities had offered to change the site to a safer one, but the owner did not take up the offer.
The collapse of the house was a result of the erosion of the coastline caused by the rising water level of the Oka River. The situation has been a cause of concern for the local authorities, who have been warning residents of the area to take precautions and move to safer locations.
