Without a doubt, Clint Eastwood is the toughest man in Hollywood and there’s plenty of proof for it. Even before he began working in the entertainment industry, he had a string of odd jobs which helped shape his character. These included working in a steel mill, as a logger, and as a bouncer at a military officer’s club!
Even after he became a movie star, he decided that he had to display toughness and courage while on set. To give audiences an authentic experience, Clint Eastwood often performed his own stunts.
Part of Clint Eastwood’s toughness also comes from his diverse talents. He knew he could do more than acting. He’s been a director since the early 1970s and several of his films have become major hits. He’s also composed music and sang songs – including a hit country song where he collaborated with Merle Haggard.
But that’s not all! Clint Eastwood even made an impact in his town of Carmel-By-the-Sea where he served as the town’s mayor in the 1980s. What really makes Clint Eastwood tough is his choice of roles. Few actors are brave enough to play controversial characters such as Harry Callahan or Walt Kowalski
Few actors are also unwilling to promote political positions that are contrary to the accepted views of Hollywood’s elite. His complete disregard for political correctness, both in his work and real life, is more proof of why Clint Eastwood is the toughest man in Hollywood.
He’s now in his 90s and still one of the toughest and hardest working entertainers in Hollywood. His latest film release was Cry Macho released in 2021 which he directed and starred in.
