This is the bizarre moment a wild turkey attacked a Labrador and his owner sending her flying.Cynthia Bartlett was walking her dog Buddy around Staten Island, New York, USA, at the end of May when they came across a wild bird.Crazy footage which has been viewed more than 1.4million times shows Cynthia come across the turkey that suddenly charged at her.The frenzied bird then chased Cynthia around before she dropped Buddys lead, leaving the turkey to turn its attentions to the dog. Cynthia said: I was in a pure state of panic cause I was worried about my dog, hes only a puppy and hes really timid. The turkeys claws were so long.When Buddy got off the leash I thought he was going to run down the street and I was worried he would be hit by a car, but thankfully he stayed.Originally I was just panicked, but after everything and after seeing the video it was extremely funny.Turkeys are all over Staten Island Ive seen them before but never had an experience like this.I took Buddy out for a walk and he spotted the turkey and barked and the it began charging at us.Basically the dog came after us for the entire length of that video, but it felt a lot longer.This footage is being managed exclusively by Newsflare.
