This is the moment a bungling boyfriend dropped an engagement ring during a wake surfing proposal with his lover in Singapore.
On one knee and gliding across the waters of Singapore's Seletar Island, Marcus Kee asked for his girlfriend Nicole Anne Low's hand in marriage.
Nicole had no idea the photoshoot was actually a setup for the elaborate proposal, and was overjoyed to see Marcus holding out the ring.
The young man slipped and fell into the water, dropping the ring. However, he had been smart enough to use a replica for the stunt and later produced the expensive piece of jewelry while Nicole was drying him off.
The delighted wife-to-be said: "A couple of months before the photoshoot, Marcus managed to save enough money to get a beautiful ring. Then, he came up with this idea to propose on the photoshoot date as both of us would be fully dressed up".
The couple first met at the Singapore Wakepark back in February 2020. They are set to get married in July next year.
