Denise DuBarry is best known for a variety of iconic television roles that she performed relatively early on in her acting career. The actress’s two most notable roles were on the aforementioned programs CHiPs and Black Sheep Squadron, respectively. On CHiPs, Denise played the character of Sue. On Black Sheep Squadron, the actress played the character of Nurse Samantha Green. Other popular television programs that the actress appeared on over the course of her early career include Days of Our Lives, The Love Boat, and Charlie’s Angels. In 1979, she had a role in the acclaimed Peter Sellers film Being There.
Later in life, Denise became known more as an entrepreneur and philanthropist than as an actress. As an entrepreneur, Denise started up her own production company and became known for her endeavors to help bring film productions to the Coachella Valley. The Inland Empire region of California has always had a monopoly on the film industry, and Denise felt that the Coachella Valley deserved some of the glory.
Denise’s work as an entrepreneur led to her being labeled the Entrepreneur of the Year by Response Magazine in 1998. In addition to her entrepreneurial work, Denise also did charitable work with at-risk youth via an organization by the name of Olive Crest. Sadly, all of Denise’s work came to an unexpected end.
