Scott and Lyssa Marcum filmed this video of their horse Phoenix playing with balls in Troy, Ohio on January 1.
Lyssa is a mail carrier and Scott is a heavy equipment operator, both living in nearby Dayton, Ohio.
"He needed something to keep him occupied and we gave him and ball and he has loved playing with them ever since. He will generally pop any ball you give him unless it’s specifically made for horses," said the Marcums.
"Top Tip for people looking to own a horse make sure you know what you’re getting into it can be expensive and a lot of work. Very time-consuming!"
