Three years ago, Ashton Kutcher was diagnosed with vasculitis. The autoimmune condition is rare, but it’s not unheard of. Prior to Ashton receiving his diagnosis, Hollywood legend Harold Ramis had become afflicted with vasculitis and passed away from it. When Ashton received his diagnosis, he was likely afraid that his fate was going to be the same as Harold’s. The condition made it so that Ashton couldn’t hear, see, or walk. The actor likely thought that his life was over, and it’s no wonder that he decided to keep his diagnosis a secret for so long.
Ashton didn’t publicly come forward with the truth about his vasculitis until he had already made considerable progress toward fully recovering from it. Today, it appears as if the actor’s vasculitis is a thing of the past. In November of 2022, the actor took part in the New York City Marathon.
