Airplane Struck By Lightning After Takeoff

This was the moment an airplane was struck by lightning as it passed over Vantaa, Finland.

Finnair's Director of Media Relations Päivyt Tallqvist confirmed the aircraft returned to Helsinki after being struck.

The 47 passengers were safe and continued their journey on the next flight two hours later.
