On July 19, 2024, a massive global IT outage caused significant disruptions at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Los Angeles, California, USA, stranding passengers on the tarmac. @jon9198 shared a video showing the chaos, captioning it, "Stuck on the Tarmac at LAX cause we can’t get a minor service card filled due to IT system outages GLOBALLY with ALL airlines and apparently a bunch of other things."
