Located to the west of the Philippines, the Mariana Trench is the deepest part of the ocean we humans have been able to discover. At its deepest, this 1,580-mile (2,550 km) long trench reaches 36,037 feet (10,984 meters). And at such depths, marine biologists found some of the craziest creatures known to man.
