Prime Video with ads is now, unfortunately, a thing. Amazon Prime Video has largely always been ad-free, aside from ads on things like Thursday Night Football.
As of January 29, 2024, Prime Video will now include ads on all movies and TV shows. There is a way out of getting ads, but you must pay to do so.
