An ATI Air Transport International Boeing 767-300 freighter, operating for Amazon Air with registration N641AZ, was accelerating for takeoff on runway 36R at Cincinnati/KY bound for New York JFK/NY (USA). The aircraft, carrying three crew members, initiated a high-speed rejected takeoff due to an engine (CF6) failure. Multiple aircraft crews reported flames emanating from the left-hand engine, with urgent calls of "Prime is on fire!" echoing through the airwaves. In response to the situation, another crew recommended, "Get the fire trucks ready; they are still ablaze!" Emergency services swiftly reacted, prompting the tower to temporarily close the airport to facilitate an unhindered emergency response.

According to the FAA, the reason for the aborted takeoff was a left engine fire, promptly extinguished by the airport's Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) team in Covington, KY. The extent of the damage remains unknown.

IMPORTANT:
The main purpose of this video is educational, i.e. to provide example situations for people who want to become pilots or air traffic controllers and to provide them with information. In addition, the aim here is to provide current pilots and air traffic controllers with access to radio conversations around the world so that they can think about how they should behave in situations they are likely to encounter in the future.

While preparing the content, I follow important aviation events and news from around the world. I check whether I can access the radio conversations by looking at the date and time zone of these events.

Then, I listen to the conversations over and over again to prepare subtitles and note down the relevant parts. Finally, I prepare an animation or get it from tracking websites and put it all together.
