Passengers astonished as woman gives birth on plane

Passengers on board a flight from Marseille to Istanbul were astonished after a woman gave birth.

Footage captured on November 3 shows passengers applauding as a paramedic walked down the plane's aisle carrying the newborn.

According to reports, the birth happened just before the plane was due to take off from Marseille for Istanbul's Sabiha Gken International Airport.

The premature-born baby was taken off-flight and to a hospital via ambulance for further care.
