This daredevil from Gold Coast, Australia, is flirting with death as he kisses some of the world's most venomous wildlife.

Marine biology student Julian Obayd films himself as he gets up close and personal with two of the most venomous species on Earth, a stonefish and several blue dragon nudibranchs.

In the first clip, the Aussie describes the stonefish as "the most venomous fish in the world" before kissing one on its back.

According to the conservation organisation Oceana: "Through its dorsal fin spines, the stonefish can inject a venom that is capable of killing an adult person in less than an hour."

Another video shows Obayd plunging his hand into a bowl of blue dragons, a species of nudibranch that can store its prey's stinging nematocysts and use them as its own.

The filmer told Newsflare: "Here I’m touching multiple inside a bowl and living to tell the tale. I'm a marine biology student, conservationist and lifelong fan of Steve Irwin.

"Do not attempt this because the sting is nasty. It attacks your ligaments and feels like you're being stabbed. It can be fatal, so be safe."

Obayd has a series of videos he uploads to TikTok aimed at educating his audience about "misunderstood" sea creatures and helping to promote sea life conservation.
