But she showed her independence while with Warner as well, resisting roles they tried to attach her to, and even refusing to shoot abroad soon after her first child was born.
Warner attempted to penalize her with contract suspensions, and even by promising her a film that they never intended to make. As such, she left Warner and had a lucrative stint with MGM. Parker was always an incredibly beautiful woman, and as such, she tempted men throughout her career. She was married 4 times overall and was an iconic actress who wowed audiences and critics throughout.
