A blanket of foam filled the roads, painting an almost surreal picture that could be mistaken for a snow-covered landscape from afar in central China.
The astonishing spectacle was filmed in Xuchang City in Henan Province on July 12.
According to reports, a nearby laundry detergent factory was overwhelmed by the might of floodwaters, leading to an unprecedented release of detergent foam that gushed onto the streets.
