A man was called out to rescue a distressed deer that had got its antlers trapped in some rope in Portlaoise, Ireland.
Filmed on October 12, the footage shows the animal frantically shaking its head attempting to set itself free.
The animal rescuer threw a coat over the animal's head before subduing it. He then began cutting away part of the tightly knotted rope from the deer's antlers.
After a struggle, the deer was eventually cut free and released back into the wild.
