Onlookers captured the hilarious moment of a wily rodent embracing the heavy rain to bathe on a manhole cover in southern China.
Video filmed in Dongguan City in Guangdong Province on June 23 shows, a mouse lathering up in the rainwater, unabashedly scrubbing its head and body.
As water pooled on the streets and gushed into the drains, the mouse made use of the deluge, grooming itself with such fervour that it caught the attention of an onlooker.
The person filming the scene couldn't help but marvel at the rat's clever use of resources. In the video, one can hear the person saying, "Look at this little guy, appreciating life and saving water during a downpour."
